Gov. Radda Receives Prestigious Igbo Chieftaincy Title for Charity Service

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has been conferred with the distinguished chieftaincy title of "Omeluoha I" (Man of Charity) by His Royal Highness Igwe Ben N. Eze (JP) of Ndeabor Ancient Kingdom in Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State.
At the ceremony held in the ancestral palace of Ndeabor Kingdom, HRH Igwe Ben N. Eze lauded Governor Radda's kindness and immense assistance to the Igbo people and others who reside and carry out their business in Katsina state, particularly noting his administration's inclusive policies towards non-indigenous residents.
Deputy Governor Faruk Lawal Jobe, who represented Governor Radda at the ceremony, expressed profound gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed the Katsina state government's commitment to maintaining an inclusive environment for all Nigerians regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds.
Following the conferment ceremony, the Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal attended a triple event hosted by Ambassador Bernard Oshi (Nwakiabeya) at Oshi's Villa in Ndeabor Town.
The event, which celebrated Ambassador Oshi's new marriage, new country home, and annual philanthropic outreach, attracted distinguished guests from home and abroad.
In his vote of thanks, Ambassador Ben Oshi appreciated Governor Radda and the Deputy Governor Faruk Lawal for adding green colour to the event, adding that the honour means the world to him and the entire people of Ndeabor.
The state government delegation who graced the chieftaincy ceremony include, the Principal Private Secretary, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji, Deputy Chief of Staff, Alhaji Mukhtar Aliyu Saulawa, SA SPIME Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim Ida, and Hon. Ibrahim Haruna Dan Alkali.
This chieftaincy conferment on Governor Radda further strengthens the cultural and diplomatic ties between Katsina and the South Eastern region of Nigeria. This also reflects the state's commitment to national unity and peaceful coexistence.
